Question: Is it possible to remove the diamond from steering wheel?

I'm referring to the small renault diamond on the airbag of clio steering wheels. In my ongoing quest to eradicate everything chrome from my car I've reached an inpass. Is it possible to remove it if i just pull it hard enough? Don't really want to break it.
I would've thought someone on here would've done it to respray/carbon wrap it already if it was possible. Has anyone ever done it?

I always wondered about this. Does it just clip back in or would it need to be stuck back on with glue/silicone?

pops out with a small screwdriver usually, Sometiems they snap in half. Not to worry i have spares available if you do break it! :rasp:
