Questions - 1.6 Dynamique - 2003

  Clio 1.6 16v Dynamique +
It's only 3 years old though, and 30k isn't high mileage on a 3 year old car, plus it does come with some warranty as well. Like I said, there is always room for haggling too. ;)

Has to be worth a test drive I reckon.

Oh and, does the air con really matter? I have air con but have only used it about 3 times in the 4 years I've owned mine.

I'd payed that a year ago for mine with only 20k on it and more toys from a renault dealer. I'd want it around 5.5k or lower really.

Yeah 5.5k sounds pretty reasonable I reckon. Being as it's a trader, to get it at the price you want it, you can quote list prices, and to quote a rather daft shitreon dealer who was trying to sell me a Saxo, "A car is only worth what the buyer is prepared to pay". He kind of shot himself in the foot really as that gave me just the excuse I needed to bring him down considerably.;)

The consensus with this type of warranty is that it isn't worth the paper its written on.

I didn't mean to imply it was high mileage, just pre qualifying my valuation.

If I were you buddy I would keep an eye out on autotrader. If you don't mind a bit of a risk buy cat D.

Should be able to pick that up for about 3.3k.

This is where you make sure you know what is and isn't covered with an extended warranty, and if you don't check that at the time then quite honestly you're being silly to yourself.

As for buying a cat D, I personally wouldn't touch one, but that's just my personal opinion. I know you can pick up some really good ones. I guess it all depends on how hard you are willing to look for one and how quickly you want it.
