Quick alloy question

Gonna be ordering some of these tomorrow:

Now the tyre guide tells you that you need 195/45's on low profile for any clio up until 98, but I was told on here that 195/50's would be fine which is what that price includes.

So will i be fine ordering them as they are with the 195/50's so they can fit on my Mk1 clio?

Right, I ordered and they've phoned to tell me I should have the 45's which is another £50 because the speedo will be out etc and they might rub against the arches.

Peeps seem to think it's fine here but the guy at Motorworld seems to think otherwise...

if your clio had 155/70 13's as standard 195/50 15's will be fine speedo wise

and if your clio had 165/65 13's as standard 195/45 15's would be better for a more accurate speedo

i have the 45's on my mk1 rt it did have 195/50's but the speedo was out buy about 5mph max so when they needed changing i put 45's on
