quick decat question

just a quick question, my cat has a small hole in it , im running a standard exhaust at the moment but was just wondering if i got a decat would it make the exhaust raspy or really loud, cheers

I don't think it would make that load because you have a std exhaust , I am looking at a race cat on k tec so I don't have to keep changing it when it comes to the m.o.t thanks

il be honest pal, im pretty skint at the moment with buying a048s and coilovers ect this month so need a cheap option lol

I no the feeling there I just ordered uprated Con rod bolts a/c delete kit and other bit just waiting to book the car in to have the work done and then sit tight .

2nd hand cat would be the cheapest option then.

Decat does make it louder.

£40 is good , i got my decat of fleebay for that, and it made mine louder but i got a full k-tec stainless, on a standard system itll make a little difference but not alot !!

My mate decatted his standard exhaust there was no noise difference at all

You need a cheap option get down halfords and get some exhaust putty works a treat.
