Quick iPhone 4 Question......

Went out last night Bowling with work and me and my mate who also has an iPhone 4 videoed someone about to bowl...

I noticed that the difference in picture/video quality of his phone compared to mine was huge... My video looked Grainy compared to his which seemed alot sharper! Can iphones differ in picture/video quality??? And is there a way to change settings?

He has the iPhone 5 iirc.

was he using a custom app to video it? there's all sorts of "optimizer" camera apps, so may of been one of those!

No was just using the standard camera App.... strange maybe ive got a dodgy iphone!!!

Or maybe you were filming from a different spot and the light wasn't as good...

There is two different cameras. One batch got one, another batch got another.

Just depends on your luck.
