Quick KTEC exhaust system question

the bloke down my road (who also owns a 172 cup) has bought the KTR Cat back system, but due to financial problems he is gonna sell it to me (still new)

just wondering if these are any good?

sound pretty good according to KTEC, but then they would say that, lol

i have one on my 1.6 as i didnt want a loud boomy exhaust

sounds lovely imo

yeah only time it gets real loud is above 5k revs

but thats probably due to rattles lol

Had a KTEC Stealth system on my 172. Great sounding exhaust, not to loud.

I have one on my 172, thought it was quite loud but it's not now I have covered the thing in paste to stop it blowing due to the dire fit.

the normal (ie. not the quiet version) ones are suposed to be quite loud afaik.....

Have one on my 172 sounds bang on, over 5k good boom but then i run induction kit too, not intrusive just good noise.

the new ones are quieter i'm lead to believe.

Mine was really loud, i'm considering getting the k-tec stealth system tho...

My k-tec stealth system is really loud below 3k revs, but after that it sounds pretty awesome!!
