Quick offset question ET35/45

Basically I've been looking for a new set of wheels, and I've just found a bargain on a sound website (nothing dodgy).

Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's in silver fitted with Toyo tyres all round for £460.

At the moment my wheels are 195/45/16. These pro race wheels are 195/35/16.

Can anyone tell me if they will go onto my 2003 1.2 Clio? Its been lowered by 60mm all round? And whats the difference between ET35 and ET45?

Your getting mixed up with the offset of a wheel and the profile of the tyre . You sure the tyre profile is 35 ??

The offset is how far the wheel sits inside the wheel arch on the hub . The profile as in 195/45/16 is the size of the sidewall of the tyre as a percentage of the width of the tyre .

Thats what I thought.

It just says..fitments available- 4x100 et35

And they are def 16"

The et 35 your talking about is the offset , how far the wheel sits inside the wheel arch .

so et35 will be more like to rub on the suspension?

The lower the number , in your case et35 the further out in the the arch the wheel sits .

I'm not sure what the standard et is on your car but et35 sounds about right for the standard offset . Someone might come along and correct me if i'm wrong about your offset .

Cup turinis are et38.5. So not much different.
