If it turns out that there is a problem with my valves in the cup or anything which involves taking the head off, will renault have to replace the cam belt of will the old one just get used again?

if a cowboy is doing the work then it'll be reused, if a pro does it EVERYTHING will be replaced

Cool! i could be killing to birds with one stone then as its due to be done next month anyway, heres hoping its a sticky valve then

get a compression test done before anything

Yeah i would have thought the mechanic would be doing that first, but then again ive seen stranger things happen.
