Hi Guys,

Looking to detail the Lupo on sunday, finally got a whole FREE day to myself so im going to nurse a hangover with a good old clean!! Need to start buying some products to use.. My brother has a PC Polisher that I can use and some bits and peices but i want to get some new stuff!!

What reccomendations?

What pads?

It has some surface swirls/scratches I would like to try and remove, dead flies, tar etc...

Many Thanks

Sam!! :)

This is the process I would suggest.

Firstly wash the car, two buckets and sheepskin mitt.

Clay the car to remove embedded contamination and any roughness.

Polish with Menzerna Intensive Polish PO85RD 3.02 and Final Finish PO85RD, using Menzerna or Sonus pads.

Then finally your choice of last step products. Personally I'm loving Zainio at the moment, or something like Carlack Nano Systematic care topped with Collinite for durability or Victoria Concours for looks.

Probably worth using a good tar remover in the above routine and you will be getting somewhere.

As for the wax/sealant depends how much time, money and what colour the car is.

Sammy, don't be soft lad!

Take it to an IMO, £2.99

Then spend the rest of your cash on V-Power (& a Razzle from the Shell garage) and go out and enjoy it...
