hey guys, just a quick one. i know its probably been asked before but i can never seem to use the seach feature properly, well it never gives me very defined answers anyway lol

ive got a 04 plate 182 with 42000 miles on it. just wonderd when the cam belt needs to be changed? or accessory belt, which ever its called lol

aux belt - 36k or 4 years
cam belt 72k or 5 years

altrho get cam done early - can snap early

so there different isi? i didn;t know tha lol i dont think my aux belt has been done yet, prob next service isi? how will i know if tha has or is about to go????

erm tbh should be stamped up in your service book if aux belt is done - i would def get this checked out

if needs doing prob worth less hassle getting the cam belt done as well but may cost you a fair wedge from reno - could try specialist csuch as ktec, rentech or yozzasport to name a few

ohhh i shall have a look at the book now thanks dude! cant i go to a local garage? or is reno the best thing to do, i dont think there are any specialist round by me for reno's.... dont think so anyway lol

mines done similar mileage, and needs its 36 service done soon - are aux belts expensive, is it a big job??

i just checked the books and the last service was 36k and it had alot of stuff done but no aux belt, but there was a section at the end - recomendations - and in there was the aux belt to be done next, so i think i should do it soon. how much am i lookin at roughly? ye i'll have to hunt around prob, i'm from the southwales area, swansea!
