Quick Question...

When I was hoovering my car out yesterday, I noticed that under the driver and passenger seat - there seems to be wires running up under them. Plus there are 2 small block connections to the ends of each of the wires under each seat.

If you picture yourself sitting in the seat as normal, and placing your hand directly under the front of the seat, that is where the wire is connected too.

Any idea what this wiring is for? As I have look all around under the seats, and am not sure what they connect too...

I think it is for the air bags in the seats.

I would have thought that some of the wiring would be for the side air bags and the other would be for the seat belt tensioners!!

Airbag wiring.

If the airbag light ever comes on, its most likely to be a loose connection between these wires.

Ditto, mines is on intermittently.
