Quick Wheel bearing question

Is this the bearing in the rear disks?, so when buying new disk with a pressed in bearing it replaces it?

yeh, think k-tec do them with the bearings pressed in ready to fit

Yes the bearing needs to be pressed into the disc if it doesn't already come with it fitted.
Yes it will replace the old bearing since that would be in the old disc.

Takes less than 40mins, someone on here got charged £110, best to take the disk off yourself and give a mech 5-10 pounds to press it in

Ok thanks, might have to get a friend to give me a lift to a mechanic, not 100% if it's gone makes an odd whinning noise, sounds like it's from back passenger side.

Jack it up and spin the wheels, you will hear a slight grinding, its deceptive when driving, you will think its the rear bearing, ends up being the n/s/f

Great yet more expense, hmm what will happen if i leave it, not an urgent thing is it?

It will get louder, so much so at 50 you wont be able to hear radio 1, took mine a few months tbh.

They seize then supposedly? never seen it though

Thats ok then, leave it a monthish till my service only seems to happen between 65mph and 75 at the moe, and about 25.

All my shot bearings were a constant noise, getting louder with speed/under corner load.

Ed:Whinning noise? just read what you put above, doesnt sond like a bearing gone now? dunno

Hand break went really loose day or so after i first noticed it, coincidence?
