quick which oil for 16v going asap!

do i need synthetic or semi synthetic or what ever else they do!?

i dont have a clue really! :( and shes getting low lol

just bought this stuff

valvoline max life

for higher millage performance engines (mines on 102k)

10w-40

synthetic blend

sound any good? the fella came out and took a look at my car and engine asked the millage and recomended that for a good quality one

?

id recommend Silkolene Pro R 10W-50

you still get good cold performance and good high temp aswell

however ive found Elf Competition ST to still give excellent cold weather performance, something ive never experienced with a 15W-50 before, always found Mobil 1 Motorsport to take a while to get flowin in severe cold, not sure what it will be like on the GTT lump

the lower W number the thinner in the cold, which to an extent is a good thing however you might not want to go too low with a higher mileage engine

depends how you drive your car really, if it gets thrashed a lot get somethin with a 50 as the last number

hmm

so basically brun iv not got good oil?

it gets thrashed yep and had 40 for last number lol

and has a 10 w number and has 100k on the clock ahh who cares its nver ending whats best i suppose

this came recomended and is for higher millage performance engines!

it will be ok mate dont worry

there isnt THAT much difference between the grades anyways
