Currently trying to fit these, should we use just the blue part already there or use the original any of the original parts ?

Thanks

yeh we got rid of the blue cup thing that sits ontop of the coilover spring and instead used the rubber mount off the old suspension but im not 100% convinced this is right. can anyone who has fitted v maxx coilovers confirm this is correct?

lol just making sure mate. when we first fitted them the car was sitting so low that i couldnt turn the wheel ie right inside the arch so i got the c spanner and wound them up and now it turns freely but there is scrubbing on the arch liners when on the move. it started getting dark so i just left it and got ben to drop me off home. think i will cut away my arch liners and wind them up a wee bit more as its still silly low atm and hopefully that should sort it.

wouldnt have done it without bens(brembos) and your help mate so thanks for that

No problemo dude, id have mucked in if it was dry, and id had old clothes with me lol

You pair are fairly hardy crawling round in the dark!

Try winding them up a bit more, see how they do with the liners, might help geting the turinis on

all you remove from the coilovers is the nut that comes on them to hold them together. You need all the stock top-mount parts from the bearing up. Bearing, rubber, top-hat, slimline nut, and the cap that goes on from above the strut

you were still a great help even with your fancy jeans on lol. yeh im gonna wind them up a bit more but tbh the arch liners were scrapping even with the prolines because they tyres are so wide. im tempted to get the turini's on but since they are off the car and without tyres im thinking that it might be better refurbing them first then putting tyres on them.

oh so you keep the blue cap thing that goes on the top of the front coilover? also is the top hat the tiny nut that hold the earing and rubber down?

Are the front scrubbing inside or outside?

Do you have RS wings on your car actually or the standard wings, the RS wings have a healthy flare to give more room up front

  Charged Superleggera
both inside and outside but difficult to tell as it only occures when moving and going over a bumpy road. standard on it at the moment but sports wings to go on soon so i think that might hlp

lol gaz if you mean the oz f1's then im defo selling them now when i get my turini's on and like i said you have first dibs so will let you know when they are off the car mate which shoudl be in a months time when i have enough money to get tyres
