sorry Si still trying to sort it out, aint been up there yet  Gotta speak to them and make sure they aint lobbed it!!!! I will let you know soon as, I was just replying to ya PM.

LoL yet again its for a cup and not for a clio or a 172 lol......

same thing for all the clio range, same/all 19s and R5s too I think.....

Have a poke round people like K-tec they do them, they are made by B&M, so you could well source one yourself more cheaply, but then you will have to sort out fitting and any niggles in the fit yourself (not too hard)

much cheaper places if u look around, if u can do any work that is hard on a car like.... suspension u can do this, it takes about an hour on axel stands, less if u have a ramp... just need some circlip, or bull nose pliers...

I can have the Trophy 6 speed gearbox for the Clio Sport 2 liters F4R engine, of course its not cheap, but I can look for good prices is someone is interested.

What sort of price range are you talking?

Under £3000 if I can get one.

Public cost in France is above £4000.
£4000 is the price for the Spider Trophy gearbox ( the Renault Spider uses Clio Williams gearbox and engine), the Clio "Cup" gearbox is even more expensive. It is a SADEV gearbox.

What I call "Cup" is not the lightened 172hp Clio with Speedline Turini wheels that we know under the name of "Jean Ragnotti" in France (Clio Renault Sport Jean Ragnotti), but 2.0L competition cars.

There is a prototype of a 200-210hp Clio with the 6 speed sequencial gearbox at the Renalt Sport developpement center based in "Les Ulis", 0-62 in 5.5s !!
See under:

I do think the 6 speed sequencial garbox allows by itself to gain at least 0.5s from 0 to 62Mph.

The trophy is for the V6s.

THe sadev box isnt suitable for the road and would drive most bonkers, and costs a pretty penny anyway you look at it.

The short shift kits are nice, but our boxs dong like being rushed......if you like wearing synchros get one.

True, I made a mistake, but I can have the 6 speeds cup gearbox.

Some people at you are crazy enough to drive road legal race cars, why not a Sport 172 with Sadev "Cup" gearbox ?
:p

Like it too, as well as the wheels and what is under the hood :D

An agreed renault Sport tuner in France has made 6 220hp Clio 172 for consumers.
Just imagine these cars fitted with the Sadev Gearbox and Yoko A048R tyres...

It would be nice yes, i can get sadev boxes aswell, but as about 6k a pop and the maintanence issues really put it out of daily running possibilities.

Not many people on here go very far with engine mods, yet alone mess with a straight cut gearbox.

ahhhhhh! so we finally find out what it is!!!! lol

The yellow Clio Sport is a prototype based in Les Ulis, not a 220hp tuned Clio that I mentionned earlier ;)

The 220hp tuned Sport 172s are made by Technomap, a well known tuner based in Dieppe: ECU mapped on a test bed, lots of work on the high engine, modified camshafts, 4 butterflys air admission and so on...16" wheels are a requirement :D

What ? £6000 a Sadev gearbox ?!?!? Did I understand right ?

Parts are very expensive in the UK

I can get you one for half the price (have some good legal tips).

Dont know anything on maintenance on this gearbox, is that really that high ?

A friend was planing to put one on his lightly modified Sport 172 (intake, chip, exhaust, KW adjustable suspsenions, front/rear Mintex M1144 brakepads).

god that front bumper looks amazing anyone know if this can be purchased!!! i have the quickshift on mine mate it has made a big difference..plus it looks sweet with the silver knob!!!

anyone know what there like for lazy driving? Ie when crusing how do you know what gear your in unless you know your revs like the back of your hand?
