Quicky reno warranty Question :(

hi all... if the car is lowered 30mm and taken to reno to fix f**ked power steering will they refuse to do it via the warranty due to it being lowered?

If they are an awkward dealer and can find some way for blaming that, saying that its placed more stress on the system then it may be a problem.

Only one way to find out.

weve done a few 172s which were modded under warrenty and nothing was said, but it depends if they fault is linked to the mods they could say no or could just fix it, touch n go

hmm k.. i have the standard springs if it comes to that i spose - could just get it back to garage for originals put back on then off to another dealer eh?

u could try, wouldnt have thought the power steering would be affected much by lowering 30mm tbh, just have to see how it goes

yeh i will mate, thanks.. But surely lowering doesnt effect this, i know logically there could be a case.. but if there was a link then we would see far more of this problem on here and ive never seen it once so far....

tbh i dont see how it can affect it really but it depends on wat the garage says really, the warrenty work is done via a computer and it will say wether its 100%reno etc , but if they say its because its lowered then they might turn u down basicly, as i said touch n go
