quite exhaust

Hi have seen several threads from people wanting quiter more discreet exhausts. my original one fell off last week (172 cup) car not even 2 years old!!!. new stainless cat-back fitted at exhaustsuk (sheffield) £275 took approx 4 hours. It looks a really neat job with nice tidy welding and has a large back box which is just visible below the bumper along with a plain downwards facing tailpipe (very similar to standard).this post is aimed at people wanting something similar to standard that should hopefully last a bit longer. The sound is slightly louder than before but is only a very low burble and is only really noticable at lower revs.
hope this may be of use to someone.

so you've had a stealth exhaust? (same as original)

i'm getting mine done on wednesday at powerflow as k-tec dont do them for a 1.2 16v

did you ask for it to be quiet? i fancy mine semi-loud :D

the first one he did me was deafening.

Yep - the quietest they do! Actually it's okay at idle (rumbles) and you can't really hear it above the engine once into 3000+ rpm. But around town in the 2000s it's pretty embarrassing (for someone my age ;) )
