Increases the internal air dynamics. Turn your blowers up too, the additional thrust is good for an extra 15bhp. Make sure they're pointing to the back of the car obviously.

If you plumb the air conditioning into the intake manifold it gives the same effect as fitting a turbo charger. Thats what the recirculation button is for on the climate control.
