R19 leather onto Mk1 Clio subframes...

Someone local to me has offered the two front leather seats from a Renault 19 in excellent condition for £50. But they dont come with subframes.

Will the ones from my Clio fit right on?

not sure, but even if they dont you can get some custom jobbies made for circa 70 quid

IIRC they are the same fit and bolt straight in.

If all else fails get Mk1 Ph2 1.8 16v seats and adjust them to the floor. just sat in mine and they are the absolute nuts. Make me feel twelve

I've always wanted leather buckets, R19 ones doubly so, black > grey.
