GSXR + KDX220
Basically Ive had 4 Toyo R1R's on and the fronts are getting near the wear markers, and with my upcoming 'ring trip approaching I'll need to replace them.
I fancy trying Federal RS-R's as they seem to have a better wear rate from what I've read. However I will only be replacing 2 tyres as the rear R1R's have around 5mm accross the tyre.
So Im thinking of running the R1R's on say the front, and new RSR's on the rear, until the fronts are worn out then replace them with RSR's to have a full set.
Is it advisable? Essentially they are in the same "league" as each other and offer similar grip/performance levels.
Or would it be best to get another 2 R1R's until all 4 are worn out? :S
