rachet on clutch peddle--HELP--

on my williams the rachtet on the clutch peddle has gone. if theres any one whos changed one before could they explain how you do it cheers

p.s and of all places to break down was out side HARRODS how embrassing

youve spelt it wrong

in Essex you spell Harrods ARRODS

You have to take the pedal out to chnage it.

Its a right pain to do.

Disconnect the cable from the gearbox end to start with then best idea is to sit with your legs by the headrest and your head in the wheel well and work on it like that. You need to remove the retaining clip which holds the pedal the pivot on the slide the pedal out swop the bits then replace it all and put the clips back.

Best get a Haynes manual to help you though it explains it better and youll learn how it works when you take it to pieces.
