RACING STRIPE REFUND

renault uk have given me a refund on my stripes because i noticed they where diffrent to the pic on the web site

orded my car and payed for it in september didnt get it till mid november

the spec on the stripes changed in october (renault didnt tell anybody even dealers)

so anybody who orded stripes before october and didnt get it till after have a look at the web site http://www.renault.co.ukwww.renault.co.uk and see if yours is diffrent you might be able to get some money back

and anybodywhos payed £295 for the stripes since october they should of payed £95 (renault uk just told me on the phone) but the web site still says £295 so i bet the dealers are still charging that too.

1st of October Price guide lists them as £95 - so hopefully dealers are not being greedy anymore!

£295 is alot of money for some stickers!

i saw one of these in local showroom yesterday,the lighter blue with the stripes.looked quite good actually.only thing i did wonder about was at the back one stripe came right down and one stopped a few inches higher above the number plate,is that how it should be?

the press cars and early examples had the stripes run all th way to the bottom of the bumpers. this must have been so time consuming to fit in the factory... now the stop at the bonnet/tailgate.
