radiator fan not working mk1 172

i need help please, my clio mk1 172 fan on the radiator doesnt seem to work no matter what spped, temperature or anything, i have been trying to find a sensor or sender? is it, i have been told by someone these are a common part to go, but i dont know where to find them, but them or fit them, need to sort it soon.
any help would be greatful

I always wonder how you tell it's stopped working, I've never known mine to come on.

Over heats usually, or in my case steam pissing out bonnet lol

was pulling a trailer though

One of two things normally, coolant temp sensor, or the fuse for it.

could you tell me which fuse it is in the fuse box? thanks rob
was thinking about putting in a fan switch inside the cabin, because im not paying for an auto electriction to have a look at it
