Radio Code / Display Backlight

Hi,

I have two issues, I have no Radio code and the back-light for the clock/radio display does not work.

It's a radio/tape player head unit.

I'm thinking my best bet would be to purchase a cheap second hand headunit, hopefully with cd player to replace it. Ideally spending <£20.

Does this seem logical?

What are my other options to get a code and fix the clock/radio display?

I had an x305 which I sold when I sold my 182. I decided I didn't want to put much into this deisel.. I'll wait until I get a car I particularly want. I'm in money saving mode from now on!
