Radio cutting out!!!

had a search on hear but couldnt find anything the same but as past few days when driving home at night my cd player in my 182 seems to cut out when i change from dipped beam to full beam. If i drive just with the auto lights this doesnt happen, but if i use the switch, where you hear a click from the change i can notice it cuts out nearly every time i switch the lights, i also noticed that if I switch the fog lights on this also happens. Could this be the stalk causing this or could i be looking at a bigger problem. Has any one else had this kind of problem.

either you have an earth problem on the radio or if its had its wiring messed about with they have hooked up the radio earth wire to the cars illumination
