Radio/Electrics Problem

Right I installed my stereo in my Clio the other day. Its fine when stationery in the car. But if I give it any revs I get an almighty crackling noise from my speakers.

I thought it might just be that the speakers are shot, but it seems to be more than that. When I give the car any revs it sends more power to other places - headlights get brighter, heaters go faster etc...

Any ideas? I miss my tunes!

sounds like the brushes on the alt are fudged?

or may be the batt is on its way out
