Radio problem please help

Hi all this has prob been covered loads of times but could do with some help. My radio won't turn on when I turn the car on and it doesn't go off when I turn it off basically I need to do it my self. Any one know what's wrong. Oh it's standard unit in a ph2 172 cheers all

You might have the constant and switched +tive the wrong way...when you turn the car off does it lose settings?

No mate all the settings are fine

fuse-you said it had probably been covered so why not use the search button which would show you the million other threads on this
