hope some of you lot can help...........how do i get the rear speakers to work in a mk2 172........someone told me there was a sequence of buttons to put in,but as i have no radio book im stuck.........

Do you not just fade them to the back a bit?

AFAIK they cant be switched off without fading them down. If no one else knows check that they are connected properly

To change the fade you press the left hand side of a 4 way button dont you well press the top part instead wait a few seconds and youll enter another menue where you can turn the rear speakers on and off.

I think thats the buttons it you pressed the top to change fade then press the other direction on the button the same to access the other menu.

Theres a function within the set-up menu where you can disable the rear speakers over and above any changes to the F/R fade that you might make.

I think you press and hold the "SRC" button for a few seconds to get to the menu...you can also change speed sensitivity etc.

Ah, I only had the standard stereo in for an hour and a half!
