Rages New Mk1. Valver Time!

Last nyt, i picked up my new car! so chuffed! its so much faster than my old one, ALOT faster i should add. but i suppose thats the feeling going from a 1.2 8V to a 1.8 16v. Its running 138bhp with numorous stuff done to it..nothing big though.

heres 2 pics i got last nyt, more to come when its had a wash and polish as soon as it stops raining outside :]

what you recon?

also, any idea what wheels they are?

OMG just had an insurance quote on it of £4,309.29!

but then i found one on elephant for £1357.13


hmm...which one to go for! not bad considering im 18! =]

thanks guys...its really tidy! no rust, bodywork is mint...

its high mileage, but has been serviced every 10k with paperwork to prove it. its currently on 142k but its had 2 major services ie cabelt e.t.c and its had a normal service every 10k.

imacualte inside and out, momo wheel, kenwood stereo, clifford alarm, all working heaters, lights , wipers electrics e.t.c non leaking sunroof.

its had its cams done, been chipped, and a pipercross induction kit, and is running about 140bhp. cant wait to get it rolling roaded.

drove past and it was up for £900 the bloke didnt know what he'd got obviously. he didnt have a clue about it.

hpi clear.

its missing the fog lights, and its got a small spot where some paint is missing on the front bumper, but got it for £650 in the end!

runs mint, starts first time e.t.c. my dads got his own car garage, and he knows whats a nail e.t.c. checked the oil and water e.t.c all perfect, no froth or discolouring e.t.c. all perfect!

it was obvious the origional owner didnt know what he'd got!

spending the whole of today, washing, detialing it all, and swapping certain things over..

im keeping my old one too. thats becoming a project me and my younger brother are working on. he cant drive for another 2 years as hes only 15, but its something were going to work on and get looking mint for when its time. obviously no engine mods for it, as its going to be his first car, so its mainly interior and exterior modifications.

ill get some more pics up of them both later on together.

Either put the turbines on it or spray the gold wheels black and remove the centre caps

I might sell up and just get a valver instead of swapping the lump :dapprove:

Thats cool mate, but valvers are due for a oil change every 6k If its running well though then i suppose no matter..!?
