Rain & AutoGlym EGP

If it rains between putting on SRP & EGP, will I have to re-apply the SRP or just spray with a QD & continue :)

Wash it first deepening on how dirty the rain is.

You will get better results if you can follow the EGP straight after SRP.

Re: Rain & AutoGlym EGP - Again!

:dapprove: Rained-on once again!

This time I had the EGP on my front arches waiting for it to cure.
Only had it on about 10mins when it decides to rain (just lightly now)

Is it fair enough to just buff off and leave it or would I need to re-apply ?

I got the EGP off before the rain became heavy, still have most of the main body of the car to do though as it's only been PC'd with SSR 2.5

What's the best way to wash & dry before returning back to the SRp stage without introducing swirls & defects again ?

Just wash as you would when it is waxed, lambswool mitt to bucket method, just be very careful drying this is where most defects come from, blot it dry with towels to avoid wiping it dry if need be.

Anyone know of any sealants that are easier on & off than the EGP, and hold up well?

Off-hand I know I've got Megs #21 and Poorboys Ex-P in the shed

Jeffs Acrylic Jett Trigger is as good as EGP but in a spray form so easy to use.

Ex-p and 21 don't come close here.
