Ran my Clio for 2 miles with only 3 sparkplugs connected. Any damage?

I forgot to put one of the sparkplug caps back on before closing the bonnet. Could tell something was wrong but put it down to a new air filter.

There was a bit of a smell from the engine, but the car drove alright afterwards. Am I likely to have done any damage?

would the injector not still have been supplying fuel? (i don't know)

if it has, i'd have thought that the unburnt fuel could have thinned the oil - ?

maybe not a concern over a short distance if that is the case - ?

Doubtful, if anything a bit of fuel will have gone down into the cat, you will have been unlucky to do any damage!

My car decided to run on three cylinders for a few days and it seems fine now, so I presume you'll be ok!
