have a 172 sport it has a stainless manifold (not sure what make as came on it) decat and scorpion system on it now it seems pretty quick to say 100mph but after that seems to take a while to get going the revs pull through in say 4th gear but dosnt seem to go much only ever reached 120mph is everyones like this ?

Got to remember its just a n/a 2L engine that will have plenty of cars to a 100mph. after that it is alot slower but still capable of over 130mph

mine took a while to get up there after 110 but you can see 135

i used to get 125(or there abouts) in 4th then nothing. in 5th, i changed my spark plugs and a general service and now much better, had 130 this morning and still had more in it (on a private runway or course), all depends if car has properly warmed up and, i find the more you take it above 125 etc the better it will get there, if that makes any sence, it just seems to open things up , thats my theory anyway.
