Random Plug @ Back Of Head Unit

While i had to take all my head unit out and unplug it all to change my heater control panel i came across this red plug that was not plugged into anything. Does anyone have any idea whats its used for ?

The big orange one plugs into one of the switches on the panel above the head unit I.e for the locks/hazards/rear window heater.
