"Range" not registering

on my 197, my 'Range' setting on the trip computer doesn't register as soon at you get to 60klms left in tank. Anything under 60klms left doesn't show up.. it ridiculous... is that normal...??? Cause if it is, thats total rubbish!!!! Why is it like that!!!

I think it's based on your recent average so it could vary greatly and just means you need to fill up sharpish.

I think it is normal, iirc it is when you have about 1 gallon left. So flick over to your mpg and you'll be able to roughly tell how long you have left.
