RAR/ NEWSGROUPS HELP ASAP

Hi Guys,

Basically downloaded something,

most of the files have gone in one folder, but a few have gone in another folder, thing is all the files are say 98mb each, and all called same thing, so when I try to drag the few files into the folder with most of them it ask me to overwrite them, btu I dont want to do this?

Any ideas? ASAP

i would download again mate. This has happened to me a couple of times where they havnt been named propely and you end up having to download a different 1

rename them and then run a par check on them..

When I download the rar files, I have them all in a list in my "Received" folder (for example).

So I have maybe 30 or 40 rar files, all with the same name except for the end (which will be r01, r02 - r30 or something similar)

You open up only 1 of those rar files, and then extract the file from it to a folder. Usually the file in the rar is linked to all the others, so you need not do anything else other than extract that one file, as it will do all this for you itself.

All depends on the file I guess. But thats how it does it for me on Newsgroups and leeching.
