RB 182 FF
My local Renault dealer reckons the brake master cylinder fitted to my car is rare and can only be sourced from abroad. As a result, he thinks it could take up to two weeks to source the part! Since my car is my daily, this is a slight issue..
The reason for the lengthy waiting time, apparently, is that my car was fitted with a brake master cylinder with both holes/outlets sized M12. But most 182s came with brake master cylinders with a hole of M10 size and the second M12.
I'm just curious, has anyone else experienced this issue when trying to source a new part? A quick search returned no results. Would there be any difference in performance between the two parts?
