Ratteling noise

Went over a bump other night and caught the underneath of my car, didnt think nuthink of it next day theres a ratteling from underneath my car quiet central but i carnt visualy see any problems it rattels when the i rev so my first thought are something to do with my exhaust, but is there anythink i could of hit to make it rattle??

Completely comfuzzled on what it is could someone enlighten me on what it may be

Does it sound like an exhaust rattle? if it does it's probably your exhaust.
If it rattles when you rev in neutral there's not really anything else it could be, unless you've managed to knacker a mount or something.
the gear linkage is quite exposed (at least on a 172 it is) but then I think you'd see some undertray damage if that'd been hit.

ps, it's likely to be a heat shield I would think.

Cheers guys ill take a look on sunday as ive got a charity bike ride tomorrow, sorry for all my slang but when im on my phone its quicker :D haha atleast u could read it and u understood what i ment :D

No it's not, nuthink has no less characters than nothing. It makes your post harder to read and means you will get less help and no one will like you. You could do with a few fullstops too.
