Rattle can interior respray

Anyone resprayed their stripped out interior with rattle cans?

How many cans would it take and do you get a decent finish?

Yes did my old cars, cant remember how many cans but ended up being more than I thought it would!

I think I bought 10 and then needed to buy a few more (500ml).

I did mine, used 4 cans, 500ml, upol acid etch primer (didn't put a thick coat on) and 7.5 cans, 500ml, of top coat and didn't bother with lacquer.

The finish is good, after I put it in my mates heated spray booth. Tried spraying with the car out side last Feb and got "orange peel" straight away.
