Rattle from exhaust at 3k rpm

Been getting this noise ever since I fitted my exhaust to the car. I put it down to the baffles coming loose in the centre silencer. Decided to investigate it further today by tapping the exhaust/silencer with a rubber mallet but it appears the silencer is fine. After a few taps I noticed a rattling noise coming from the cat to manifold join. The thing is I replaced the gasket and fitted a new 'manifold to cat fitting kit' when I fitted my interchangable decat.

Obvious reason would be it's not fitted properly but as far as I can tell it's perfectly fine, everything is tight, everything is fitted where it should be. Anyone have any ideas?

Heatsheild tight? I'd put money on it if its not the exhaust. The wire for the lambda is metal sheathed iirc and it is routed round the sheild near the arb

Yeah heat shield is tight. And yeah I know exactly what you mean but it's all clear. Tbh I think it might be the exhaust, something I forgot to mention in the original post was that the noise quietens down (not completely) once the exhaust is red hot.
