rattly exhust heat shield

how do i stop the bloody thing rattling. i looked before and there was a clip missing, put a new one on and it went away, now its back again is there anyway of putting them on so they dont fall aff without welding the bl33ders on.

you could use bigger washers between the screws and heat shield which could help m8y

had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, went to renault to get some new ones and they fell off! the thread size seems to be different................
I have secured them for the time being with the trusty tool box favourite..The cable tie!

Mine isnt lol, its been put there by someone as there is a random screw coming through my floor pan in my boot lol Ill get rid.

I had this with mine, took it to the exhaust place I go to and they sorted it out in no time at all, not sure what they did, but it didnt cost me a penny!

Boolocks had mine on the ramp today for this very problem, had to get it off the ramp for a waiting job and forgot to do it, thanks for reminding me.

Large washer and new nut usually does the job, or rip it off if your hardcore.
