Wow definately different. I'm going red I think then find some red wheels to match. Red on the RB looks a good combination. Did want yellow but all the RB owners seem to go white or yellow

Thanks for all your help. I'll message Tom in a bit order one and work out who and where can install it when it's built. If lockdown is over by then I might take a chance and trek to him to fit it

Seats arrived today so managed to get one in. Jon Fozz Vbd Frames, omp side mounts and Mirco RTS 3d seats with Blue stitching.
Second seat in next few days then wait for cage.... Should all be done in 2 weeks.

Sad update. Some useless t**t of a dominos delivery driver hit my car on the driveway and drove off while delivering to next door. Luckily only cosmetic damage but paint needed so will persue dominos and police to get him sorted.

Better Update
Finally got my Fulcrum Rear Cage and TRS Harnesses fitted today. Over the moon with how it's turned out. Couldn't recommend Fulcrum enough or Gdf Metalworks in East Sussex who installed it

Such a shame about the bumper, hope you'll get it sorted..

But that cage looks proper quality, goes really well with the seats and harnesses!

Thanks all came together nicely on the end. Bumper can be painted just really frustrating.

Yeah it's about 75 to 100 quid so boy end of the world I just hate people like that. I have been to dominos and found the car he then admitted it in front his store manager who said it would be passed to the area manager. He then rang me said it wasn't our driver if you don't have video proof get lost basically. Needless to say I then rang police and let them deal with it. Awaiting their response

I really wanted yellow but the Mrs persuaded me red works look better even tho age has no interest in car's but really really glad I listened to her now. Just red pro race 1.2 wheels to finish it off

Had a few bits done recently. Bought a second set of wheel Pro Race 3 with Raimsports now using these as my daily and having some track focussed runner put on my 1.2s. fitted track door cards in the back. But biggest job has been suspension upgrade. BC DS Coilovers 9kg/8kg along with Black Series bushes on front ARB and wishbones, also on rear axle. Purple dogbone and yellow top engine mount. What a transformation needs setting up by so far very very impressed.

How do the black bushes and the 9kg/8kg feel on the road/over speed bumps etc? Any track time planned soon to test it all?

Red cage does look fantastic and ru suits RB. Moreso than white or yellow i think.

Will you still go red with the pro race 3s? Never seen those in red before?

I love the red re the wheels the more I think about it the more I think I'll just go red calipers black wheels

Clio got a rare run out yesterday. Down to Brand's for the GT cup cracking day out weather just about help up and style good racing. Took a few pics with my son's corolla t Sport. Coilovers have really transformed the way the car drives and even set halfway between soft and hard I'm finding them comfortable enough to drive on the road

Clio taken a back seat last few weeks since I won my LY R26. Been focusing on doing bits and piece on that. Mainly polishing lol. Fitted 4 PS4 tyres,Private Plate, Wind deflectors, mats and some stickers that were missing . Loving the car and will be my long term daily

Today I've done a buy for the Clio. Been after a RS2 inlet for a long time and bought 1 today. Will be going down to Alex at AW over next few weeks to be fitted alongside some 197 injectors then over to Engine Dynamics for a map update. May also pull the trigger on a PMS resonated decat exhaust system as mines a little loud in a stripped out car (I'm getting old) and some track noise limits are a little tight . Also need to have the suspension set up properly and do a couple of bits of bodywork. Wil update when fitted and mapped

Finally managed to get the RS2 inlet. 197 injectors fitted. Also ditched the eBay race exhaust in favour of a PMS system with decat. All fitted by AW Motorworks and mapped by Engine Dynamics. Pics as sent by Alex as usual he's been great at keepin me updated etc. Can't wait to collect the car and get back out on track

Brands Track day 10th June. What a scorcher. Had a warped brake disc by the afternoon but soldiered on felt a lot quicker especially after some tuition from A proffesional. Managed. 70 to 80 laps happy days no offs or damage . Good day out. Plenty of Clios on track, outweighed any other car by a long way.

Fitted a new set of Brembo HC today touched up calipers and spotted both steering rack gaitors are knackered. Another job to do.

18yh July The session at Brands arrive 3.30 stone into circuit electrical light comes on and loose power. Does this 3 times driving around paddock area so didn't think I would get any laps in. Where swapped to R888r I know I should have done this before i got there but was involved in a accident in another car a few days earlier which set of a old back injury and been in a fair amount of pain. Wheels on loads of waiting around no idea why you arrive at 3.30 for a 5 30 track time I don't know. Sighting laps done car arms ok small knocking on front left (youths out to be pick up on the tyre from previous year day). Yeah was very busy all night 4 or 5 red flags in 2.5 hours but managed 3 sessions and about 45 laps. Car was spot on in every session felt really good, was considering selling it again before the track day and just using the R26 as daily and task car but don't think I can bring myself to let thev old girl go. Being there with 2 very quick clio did however show me how bad a driver u really am. Richard ph1 on bodies and Martin quick turbo Clio both left me standing. Even the Astra van (Diesel) went passed me once

Finally got back out on track brands again. Managed a banging 90 laps without major issue and car felt spot on.

Finally had the front bumper painted almost 2 years after the car was scratched. Compete with brand new grill and oem stickers. Just got my carbon purerrack brand ducts to compete today. Car looks much fresher
Also fitted a puretrack fire extinguisher mount

Wet evening track day last week at Brands. Forest time I've been on track with my 21 year old son in his corrola and was a little nervous. Weather was monsoon season had no grip whatsoever but still enjoyed myself
