RB 182, Track car prep

Hi Guys,

So I bought myself a 182 which from what I understand is well known on this forum. It just going to be a track car, and hopefully a trailer queen soon too. It was on eBay, I posted on here about it and got it for what I think is a bargain price, collected it 2 days later.

I don't have massive plans for it, I just want to make it reliable, well maintained and fun while enjoying building it up on the way..

So here it is, all I have done is Jetwash the muck off, and take some pics. I have sold the steering wheel already and looking for a boss and race wheel now. Any advice is welcome and appreciated.

Looks fantastic, picked up an RB 182 last week also (albeit with the stripes).
Love the location also, brings back fond memories of flight training in a little Cessna.

In terms of modifying, I've heard fantastic things about the products offered by Pure Motorsport, might be worth a glance!

I would definitely consider it much less, more money to spend on it now

Oh wow I'm jealous! It was barely on ebay any time at all. Trying to find a decent rb but will have to get saving. This one was too far away, look forward to seeing what you do with it

I started fiddling today, in the boot there is a black bracket behind the seats, the bolts to undo were just turning, does this have to come out to get the rear upright seats out?

I also found some corrosion on the left turret, its only light but I will deal with it soon so it doesn't become an issue.

I started taking things out today, if anyone wants anything from a 182 just Hola
