i have began thinking about the set up im installing in the front. just positions etc. im not rushing in with a jigsaw and fibreglass in this one.
the tweeter will sit in the original position but in a small pod to aim them at the driver.
the woofer....well i wanted to make pods but this wont give the best sound as the grill base will just resonate with the door card. once i get the door car off and see what i have to play with i will decide. i just want to hide these speakers away behind ugly speaker grills is all
Not my thing filling a car with speakers etc but looks like you've made a really good job of the speaker pods. Do you make installs for living? Or just something you enjoy making?

the setup might be changing in the doors now after speaking to a local audio specialist. going over there tomorrow to get some ideas of what i SHOULD do.
they said as is it will look nice but not sound as good as it could. fair play ill listen to them
monumental bump as i lost track of this thread and never updated it. well lots has happened. took pics just now after its machine polish and reapplication of auto glym HD wax
first off the install is complete. sounds fantastic very impressed and was worth the effort installing the mid bass. the boot has been deadened also, its now a very pleasent ride inside
