Nah I didn't have time, once I got my pics I was already late picking the mrs up :( but I'll definitely be using it soon.
Its not stopped raining since I done it and it still looks as it was parked inside at work!

  RB 200
Cool, how often should I give it a wash? Weekly or? ... yea it seems canny I tried the Wing, all of the stuff goes on and comes off completely effortlessly! Already got a few people asking me to do there cars :p a vogue and a new SLK .. Might have a go, got quite a satisfied feeling knowing I'd done it good! Haha

  RB 200
Haha you should then I'll get a idea of what to charge them! :p the SLK is black so I'll need some deferent wax!

I have to say, it looks superb. Not taking anything away from your hard work, but it is such a rewarding and easy colour to really bring out the best, provided you know what you're doing.

Not sure on the wax choice and definitely suggest against Red Mist as a QD, but it's all personal preference/budget/experience.

  RB 200
Yea I was on a bit of a budget, needed new EVERYTHING haha so I was limited, but it come up decent considering it was only a 5er...
Im going to invest in some better stuff for next time though!
And I haven't tried the red mist yet, so I'll see when I do

The wax doesn't last that long, nor look that good in comparison to other waxes in the same price bracket.

The QD, well, the same really. Z8 is far superior as a last touch product. Or Carnauba Spritz by Sonus.

Suppose that's where personal preference comes in.

I have seen months using Dodo waxes topped up weekly with Red Mist, and the Gloss!

Zaino is good but for the entire Zaino range you are looking at more than for a panel pot of Dodo, Red Mist and a sealant like the CarPro Cquartz in tester form.

Realistically I don't think you will get any better results than what James has achieved unless you introduce a machine polisher.

weekly top ups with red mist would see any wax last months and months, as you're not really getting the durability from the wax.

On the other hand the RB does look pretty good, and I'm not a fan generally of RB.

Agree on the personal preference. But I'm talking 500ml Z8 versus 500ml Red Mist. Same price, superior product. Same with the 478ml Sonus.

Wax wise, again, looks and longevity are lower than Nattys blue, at double the cost. Step up by £15 and you're at Carbon and Onyx pricing. The only DJ wax I've seen any worth from is SN (wax not hybrid).

But all personal prefs. And let's be honest, the car looks stonkingly good!!!

People still use Red Mist?

Very high solvent content also.

Fair points JD, the wax costs less than £6 for a panel pot which, topped up with Red Mist will last months tbf.

There was a budget to hit and spending £30-odd quid on wax and QD as opposed to £16 wasn't viable or unreasonable, and I have no doubt in the wax and QD.

For the initial price to get a wax and QD I don't think you can get better for the money tbh. We are talking 250ml RM btw, which will see a fair few months.

The results speak for themselves and topped up it will stay that way!
