RB197 LUX Project

Hi guys, thought id share my newest purchase, had this couple of days now and love it! Completely different to my 182 in every way, feels a lot newer and sturdier... whereas the 182 was a bit more planted and ragable.

This is one of the LUX 197's, sporting the Leather seats, grey/carbon dash trim, silver wing mirrors, raider (i think) wheels along with a few other extras.

Just want to get it all tidied up and wheels refurbed and then i might start looking into some subtle mods.

It cant really be compared to the 182, i loved my old car for different reasons but this just does things differently, keeps its revs when changing gear and has a lovely raspy sound! The steering and suspension are just right being soft but slightly hard when under a bit of boot, but at the same time all still feels like a renault, with comfy seats and weirdly smells the same [emoji23]

Always fancied an R27, couldn't swap the Ph1 for one though would need as well ? I have a mate with one with Megane engine looking forward in a spin in it when it's all finished and mapped

Couple of little additions, some nice shiny exhaust tips and some old looking renaultsport surrounds for the numberplate, feels a bit more mine with my private plate on too

Must have cost a fair bit for a Private plate with no letters/numbers!
