I took my car out last night and I had my ABS, Brake pressure, ESP & SERV lights come on. Stopped at the lights and turned my ignition off and back on - lights disappeared. Drove home and parked on the drive. Now, I held my footbreak down fully before I pulled the handbrake on, and would you beleive it, it seems to have adjusted itself so that my handbrake is now at the correct level (not vertical anymore!)
Is there a ratchet system on the handbrake that works in conjunction with the foot brake to retension the handbrake mechanism?
