just got of the phone with the company that do my work on my car and was saying that its a big drop and my wheels wud rub and i would need to change the shocks :(

anything more than 40mm you are advised to change the shocks.

I have got some 45mm springs just in if they are any good?

Depends on the wheels/tyres as to whether they'll rub. As for the shox, sure you should replace them, but there's no real need if you're not bothered about the harsh ride and wearing them out faster.

Mine on 16's dropped 60mm...

45-60mm really harsh ride.. but excellent handling! choice is yours but yeah anything more than 30-35 should consider changing your shocks.

hmmm decisions do u think there wud be much difference between 30/35mm and 45mm sam, btw gemma is home :D lol

Between 30mm and 45mm you will barely notice any difference! As said it's like 1cm! lol! If you're thinking anything it has to be 60mm really.

no mines going to be on 35mm this weekend, i dont want it any lower because i have a new front bumper going on it so the front will be generally lower to the ground than standard. i think 35mm suits it best with some sort of subtle kit.
my friend has a 45 mm and the car sits nicely on the wheels with a clean look between the arch and wheel

nice one fella, im tempted by 60mm drop but the mods going on my car are just subtle and refined and then i think by slammin it on its ass ruins that look lol
