Re-Trim Companies for my steering wheel

  E39 530i
My Sh!tty ph1 172 steering wheel is really starting to get on my tits :dapprove:

Does anyone know of any companies which will re-trim my steering wheel back to normal or even better? I live in the West london area so anywhere near would be excellent.

Cheers guys.

theres a member on here called gibsonandboynetrimming, they are a pro retrimming company, never had any work done by them but form what i have read they are highly rated.

they were going to do a group buy with some other members, and have a pass around wheel to go from one member to the next whilst the wheels were done, not sure if this is going ahead or not, drop them a pm or do a quick search for it!

hope that helps?

gibson and boyne wanted 158 to do my wheel and send it back to me. i ended up getting a momo wheel as i didnt particularly like the 172 design as i thought it was too big.

giles (clio GB) may have a spare RSi full leather one that he might be pursuaded to sell lol

no airbag in the momo steering wheel mate.. ^
but it would still work if u got the renault steering wheel retrimmed... me thinks...

In this business you get what you pay for..

To re trim a wheel it takes a days labour as its all stripped back..leather cut to fit the wheel and then hand stitched..Hence the price so in some cases it may be cheaper to buy a new wheel..depends on what you are looking for..

As for airbags..you can see from the pics I can trim them and we use special airbag thread..
