Rear axle brake lines

Notice that my rear brake lines are looking crusty where they clip onto the rear beam. I have seen some posts where the steel pipe has been replaced by braided hose? Is this preferable to copper pipe and what do I need to do it?

Contact Mitch at Pro-line Motorsport, I bought a set a couple weeks back only cost £40 posted inc PayPal fees. Copper pipe will also do the job but personally I prefer braided hose.
