Rear Badges: Definative Answer?

On a Ph1 172 bootlid, what badges are and aren't pinned??? i.e What ones can be removed trouble free?

Clio badge is pinned.

All the rest can be removed IIRC.

See thats what I thought, but in someone thread there was a ph1 with the RS badges removed, was there holes left behind..... I'll try find the link...

Considering taking all badges off and having a carbon clio badge from extreme dci or whatever his name is

All i know for certain is the Clio one has 2 x pins and the Renault one is simply stuck on, no idea about the Sport one

I think:

Ph1: Reanult and clio badge pinned

ph2 : just clio badge pinned

"Sport" on ph1 and ph2 sports is just glued?

Just the Clio badge pinned I thought, was on my mk1. Just try taking the others off you'll soon notice if they are pinned!

Renault and Clio badges are pinned sport badge us stuck on on the phase 1 172 took mine off last week to buy some new ones

I see this wasn't as simple as getting a definative answer.... lol.

I guess it may just be random, not all ph1's seem to be pinned, but if the "Renault" badge is pinned that means no changing it for the new RS badge F'ing stupid Ph1

My 'Renault' badge IS NOT pinned on my Ph1.
My ' Clio' Badge IS pinned on my Ph1.

Interesting.... I really want to take mine off and fit the new RS badge, I'll give it a go next weekend and report back (probably moaning about the holes in my tailgate...

I think the holes are a lot too far apart, as the 197 RS badge is a lot smaller, but I'll try I guess.

Take the inner door panel thing off and you will see.
